Tokachidake Bōgakudai (10/5,6/2024)
Once again, there was a high possibility of witnessing a low-latitude aurora, so I went to Tokachidake Bōgakudai for a rematch. Initially, I was considering going to the summit of Kurodake, but I was worried about whether the aurora would actually appear. In the end, I decided against spending two days climbing and descending and opted for the same Tokachidake Bōgakudai as last time.
The result: no low-latitude aurora appeared. There was a purplish hue, but like last time, I believe this was due to thin clouds. Unfortunately, no aurora this time, but maybe next time!
